I've been waiting longer than expected, what's going on?

This is a rare occurrence and something that annoys us equally as much as it annoys you.

Unfortunately delays can occur with our suppliers for a variety of reasons and we are often unable to speed them up when they do happen.

We do constantly review the performance of our suppliers and seek partnerships with those that have a proven track record of quick delivery.

Please do bear with us in these situations as your codes will be delivered. If the delay is too much for you however, please do contact us in regards to potentially cancelling the order.

    5-25 mins??

     

    you should also write "may take up to 7 days" so then we can pop into the local shops and pay £2 extra to get it  unlocked

    and the process is not clean, too many emails being sent Frustrating!

    I am waiting and waiting..........giving information after information..........sending e-mail after e-mail........no response........gettting closer to be disappointed.

    now on day 3 of waiting - have tried contacting to cancel order but told that I have to wait until you hear back from the service provider - that might be forever .....

    ordered on 25th September 2012 - now 4th November - still not received unlock code - requested refund as this is taking the mick - methinks

    Anyone who has been waiting for an unreasonable length of time, please first check that we haven't already email you regarding the order (as we had in some of these cases).     Hi Ashleigh,

    This morning our payment processing company (Paypal) had worldwide issues with their system, which has caused a knock on effect for thousands of businesses, one of which is us. Because of the problems, our system isn't receiving notifications that the orders are being paid for. We are therefore having to do it all manually to combat the issue.

    We've been reassured that the issue will be resolved soon, but this is part of a massive problem and isn't a delay caused by us or our suppliers.

    Our sincere apologies for what has happened.

    I believe we have responded to you via email, but the order is currently with the supplier who is attempting to get you phone ready for unlocking. We should be hearing a response shortly.

    I only used this service because it said 5-25 minutes for goodness sake!! What a waste of money! There were cheaper ones which took longer, which I would have just used if I had known this was going to be the case!

    Really need this sorted this morning, I have paid for the service!!!

    Hi Mandy,

    Could you please get in touch with our support team so we can find out where the problem is? Their email is support@mobileunlocked.com.

    Often the codes have been sent but the email has been blocked or sent to a an incorrect address. Without looking into your specific order, we cannot say what the issue is exactly.

    Waiting a long time. 8 working days and counting....  "Your unlock code will be emailed to you within 1 to 5 Days". And no status change. What is going on?

    Hi Lloyd,

    We've emailed you back through our helpdesk, but it is worth noting here as well that once we have the orders that they are then passed over to our suppliers who provide the codes. The best we can do is to display the average time if takes for the supplier to find the codes for each model and network on our website. However, there are instances when it takes longer to provide the codes or unlocking confirmation for a variety of reasons. Our suppliers are a separate business to us but they will always provide the code or a refund to us if the code cannot be found.

    The delivery times on the site are a guideline and should be treated as such.

    Hello can someone help please Ive been waiting for my code for four days this is ridiculous my credit card has already been charged if you guys can't send my code please refund my account so I can search a more realiable website

    john belton , I did find them on Facebook and complain on their wall and I did get my refund after three weeks.

    thanks winny, just found them on FB the wife left a comment, will get my son a vodaphone sim and unlock through them for free in 6 months

    any comments on their facebook page are removed immediatly, amazing they can deal with that straight away, time to hand over to the credit card company, let them deal with it

    I quite accept that delays can happen in any situation, and do not have a problem with this. I do find it somewhat frustrating tho' when you quote such a ridiculously short deleivery time. Also, if an order or orders are delayed, then surely when some one mails in to query what's going on, a reply is the least you can do. Poor communication exacerbates poor service hugely. I have now been waithing almost 3 days for an serviced advertised to take a couple of hours at worst.

    Very disappointed with this service. After waiting 4 days no unlock code sent but IMEA details just.
    Now being told an unlock code wasn't even requested even though their email states an unlock code reference in the email title!

    I paid for the service as it mentioned 1-4 hours to process and now its more than 24 hours and no response form you guys...!!

    Still waiting and it is past the date.
    Also, I was charged £33.99. The website says "from £20.99"...£13 extra?? To wait this long? Not impressed.

    I purchased the unlock for an iPhone 5s under the impression this would take a few days.

    Purchased: 23rd October 2015, 08:55 pm
    Latest Expected Delivery Time: 13th November 2015, 07:55 pm

    "We aim to deliver unlock codes before the latest expected delivery time shown above. Please do not email us to ask when your order will be delivered, if it is still within that delivery time."

    Why is there no mention of the lead time being 3 weeks for an iPhone unlock and why do you not accept questions on where it is up to when you are not clear with your information? Little frustrated with this situation to say the least. Its a phone i bought to replace my son's faulty handset and its too long to be waiting on this service with no updates!
